Income Tax (IT) officials on Tuesday raided 33 premises in Tamil Nadu belonging to three business groups, said a senior tax official.
This is the second major raid by the IT Department after its multi-city searches linked to jailed AIADMK leader V.K. Sasikala's kin and business associates.
Earlier, an IT official told that the raids were a follow up to the earlier search operations.
Officials said the latest search operations were linked to unnamed shell companies.
