Re-polling began at 34 polling stations of 8 assembly constituencies in Manipur amid tight security. Polling started at 7am and will conclude at 3pm.
These assembly constituencies in Imphal, Churachandpur and Kangpoki districts went to polls in the 1st phase of elections on Mar 4.
Re-polling was ordered in these eight constituencies after malpractices were found in the poll process.
The counting of votes in Manipur will be taken up on March 11, along with four other states — Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa and Uttar Pradesh, where Assembly polls were held.
