Pak resorts to intense shelling on LoC in J&K's Poonch district Last Updated : 09 Jun 2020 04:23:38 AM IST Pak resorts to intense shelling on LoC in J&K's Poonch district Pakistan again violated ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) on Monday by intense shelling and firing in J&K's Poonch district.
Defence ministry spokesman, Colonel Devender Anand, said that at about 7.45 p.m. on Monday, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars along the LoC in Khari Karmara sector of Poonch district.
"Indian army is retaliating befittingly," he said.
