Saddam Hussain (1979-2003): Instituting mass genocide, Saddam Hussain was the dictator of Iraq, claiming the death troll to about 2 million in total, which includes Kurds, Shabaks, Assyrians, Mandeans and other ethnic groups who rebelled against his leadership and fought several wars against Iran and Kuwait.
