Heavy snow hits Japan

Hundreds of flights have been cancelled, roads closed and some train services suspended due to the heaviest snow in decades in Tokyo and other areas of Japan in which seven people are dead and more than 1,000 injured .A severe snow storm warning has been issued in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, with residents urged to stay indoors.It is the first such warning for the city in 13 years.
