Will these elections succeed in bringing democracy or it will plunge the country into a civil war or chaos beacuse of the pan-ethnic democratic and enough of homogenously ethnic divided groups. Corruption and poppy cultivation are the major challenges.Sex scandals and exposes of shady dealings have characterised social media coverage of this week's presidential elections in Afghanistan. The Independent Election Commission announced the final list of polling centers expected to be open on Election Day. Although the number of centers to be closed is higher than previous estimates, officials suggested this precaution would help minimize the chances of electoral fraud.
