Leander files complaint against cricketer Atul Sharma

Leander Paes files complaint against cricketer Atul Sharma

An FIR was registered against "cricketer" Atul Sharma following a complaint by Indian tennis star Leander Paes accusing Sharma of giving death threats to him and his daughter in a family court in suburban Bandra on Tuesday, police said today. Atul Sharma has been booked under IPC sections 506(2) (criminal intimidation), and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace) yesterday after a complaint by Paes, said Kundlik Nigade, senior inspector with Bandra Kurla Complex police station. In his complaint, Paes claimed that Sharma warned him and his daughter of dire consequences and gave deaths threats in the family court premises on Tuesday.
