Prominent names join AAP

A banking professional, Meera is ex CEO and chairperson of Royal Bank of cotland (RBS). She however, left the job to enter public life. Meera contested as an independent candidate in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from the Mumbai South Constituency but lost. She has now joined the Aam Admi Party. She is also president of Liberals India for Good Governance- the Indian Liberal group, a not for profit think tank. Born on Oct 15, 1961, she hails from Kochi, Kerala.
