PICS: Mumbaikars get Monorail

PHOTOS: Mumbai to take Monorail ride from February 2

Keeping Lok Sabha Elections 2014 and state Assembly elections in mind, the state government has decided to inaugurate the much awaited Monorail service on February 1. However, the monorail service will be opened for public from February 2. Earlier, the Monorail service was scheduled to be inaugurated on January 26 (Republic Day) but the busy schedule of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress President Sonia Gandhi the function was delayed.
