Watermelon may lower blood pressure

A new study finds that eating watermelons has many benefits including keeping blood pressure under control. A report from New York says that chomping down on watermelon could significantly reduce blood pressure in overweight individuals both at rest and while under stress. "The pressure on the aorta and on the heart decreased after consuming watermelon extract," Florida State University Associate Professor Arturo Figuero said.
