Delhi restaurants offer Japanese vegetarian delights to suit Indian taste

Once Chinese food became 'common' in India many took to Thai and Japanese food. The Japanese has found fresh popularity after Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Tokyo. Japanese restaurants in Delhi are now offering vegetarian variants of typical Japanese food such as 'Miso soup'-- generally prepared with soybean and fish stock, and 'Yakitori' -- a form of grilled chicken among others.
