He may have spent over three decades working in Bollywood, but the 58 year-old actor says he is only now going through the best phase of his life.Speaking at the fourth annual Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, which he was attending as a chief guest, Anil said: "I think I am going through the best phase of my life. I have been fortunate that I made the right choices. My hard work, destiny, right choices and of course the support of my family."Anil, who won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in 'Pukar' revealed that the support of his family is the reason he has survived in the industry for so long: "This profession is very tough and you need the right kind of support that can keep you sane and normal."The actor further showed that he is a family man by having his daughter and fellow actress, Sonam Kapoor, accompany him to the Film festival, where he was presented with a special IFFM award for excellence in the world of cinema.Despite having made his Bollywood debut with 'Hamare Tumhare' in 1979, Anil has no plans to slow down anytime soon, and was quick to answer "No. Never" when asked if he had ever thought about even retiring from making films.The actor, who also produced 'Ghandi: my father', became the first Bollywood actor to hoist the Indian Tricolour flag at Melbourne's Federation Square; joined by Indian High Commissioner, Navdeep Suri, Consul General, Manika Jain and hundreds of Indians.
