Superstar Rajinikanth and Megastar Amitabh Bachchan felicitated south music director laiyaraaja who has completed composing music for 1000 films at a function in Mumbai on Tuesday.For many decades, Ilaiyaraaja’s tunes have swayed millions across the globe and that’s how he earned the title of ‘Isai Gnani’,Bollywood actress Sridevi,actor Kamal Haasan also felicitated south music director.Veteran music composer Ilaiyaraaja works predominantly in the South Indian cinema since the late 1970s. Regarded as one of the finest music composers in India.He has composed more than 5000 songs and is the only composer in the history of cinema to provide film scores for more than 1000 films.
