Kajol and Karan Johar bitter spat

"I had only Kajol in mind for Mandira's role. And I don't think I would have made this film had she said no to me. She was the perfect choice for the character. I don't think anyone could have done justice to it as she has," Karan Johar had once said in an interview with the Times of India. Kajol and Karan Johar's decades old friendship was never put under the scanner until recently. While Karan Johar was a regular at all the events organised by Kajol, she too was a regular (even in cameos) in almost all his movies.
