Women issues are the flavour of the season and 'Mardaani' has it. So basically it has a deadly combination. All this join together to make a superb film. Rani Mukherjee is a cop in the Mumbai Crime Branch who chases the case of a missing girl. She lands up in the trafficking world, which is full of sleaze and dirt. She wows to eliminate the criminal and push them out. The villains are fierce but Rani's determination is fiercer. She dashes with them head-on and bad men are in trouble.
