Lakmé Fashion Week 2015:High on star power

The lakme fashion week is one of the premier fashion event in India and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonakshi Sinha brought Lakme Fashion Week to a glittering close on Sunday night, dazzling in contemporary Indianwear by Anamika Khanna. Lakmé Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 welcomed a slew of Bollywood superstars onto its runways.For the past 15 years it is run by Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and the title sponsor is Lakme. This time it was a gala event in which 25 designers in a collective show celebrated the crafts of India. The sets were made to look like a traditional French brasserie and archaic havelis to futuristic boulevards and offsite fashion dramaturgy near Delhi’s historical monuments.Nargis Fakhri, Ileana D'Cruz and Chitrangada Singh donned lehengas, Kalki skipped down the ramp in sneakers, and Esha Gupta flaunted bronzed legs and a bombshell blowout for Arpita Mehta.
