Jaya is big fan of Drishyam star Mohanlal?

Jaya Bachchan told a fellow journalist many years ago when ABCL had remade the breezy Mohanlal starrer,Then mavin Kombath, as Saat Rang Ke Sapne not to ever compare the remake with the original because it is difficult for any actor in any language cinema to surpass or even equal the performance of Mohanlal. “Please judge the Hindi film on its own merits,” she had jovially told the reviewer. Jaya has often confessed how much she admires Mohanlal’s work and it once led to Amitabh Bachchan going up to Mohanlal at a function hosted by R Mohan and telling him that he cannot but concede that he is a superior actor because Jaya talks more admiringly about his work than she speaks about the work of any actor in India.
