Tahir Bhasin may be arguably called the dark horse of the 2014 lot as he surprised everyone with his effortlessly-cool antagonist act in 'Mardaani' as a young and ruthless mafia kingpin. At 27, the actor held his own in presence of Rani Mukerji. His act is also regarded as one of the best negative performances of the year.
