Two tigers killed every week

WWF report says two tigers are killed per week

Global conservation organisation WWF sounded an alarm on Tuesday, July 29, over poaching of tigers. The organisation said on an average two wild cats are killed every week. This, WWF says, is due to high demand of their body parts in Asian countries. It also said wild tigers were facing the risk of extinction in some countries due to a lack of accurate information on their population.
