Iranian Army conducts missile exercise in Isfahan

The Iranian Army on Friday started a two-day missile exercise in the central province of Isfahan. Two-day ground and air military exercise includes testing short-range missiles. State television quoted Gen. Ali Mehrabi, a top army commander, as saying Friday that the drills involve forces in central Iran.The war games commemorate the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, a city in southwestern Iran during the country's 1980-88 war with Iraq On the first day of the maneuvers, the Fajr artillery rocket and the medium-range Nazeat ballistic missile were fired and successfully hit the designated targets.
