On Wednesday, Noida-based company Ringing Bells Pvt. Ltd has launched world's affordable smartphone 'Freedom 251' in India. The cost of this smarthphone is just Rs.251, which makes it the most affordable smartphone in the world. Earlier the phone was expected to be priced at around Rs.500. 'Freedom 251' will be available to buy on the company’s website (freedom251.com) starting from 6am on February 18 and close at 8pm on February 21. At present, the cheapest smartphones available in the market are priced around Rs 1,500. The company did not disclose any other details about manufacturing, products and pricing.
