PICS : TOP STARS IN THE FRAY AT THE YONEX SUNRISE INDIA OPEN

Saina Nehwal's name has been on everyone's lips. The World No. 8 has not been able to meet rising expectations of late due to injuries and resultant lack of physical fitness, but hope springs again as she takes on unseeded Austrian Simone Prutsch in the opening round of the $250,000 Yonex-Sunrise India Open Super Series at the Siri Fort Stadium. Malaysian great Rashid Sidek believes the 24-year-old needs to work harder to compete against the top Chinese - the draw boasts of the formidable trio of Li Xuerui, Wang Shixian and Wang Yihan, the world's Top Three. Her coach Gopichand, however, has encouraging words: "I can see positive results coming. A couple of wins and her confidence will be back."
