As a young boy, he loved ‘gol gappas’ and chicken rolls, and one of his favourite haunts was a small place called Madhuban in Ranchi. In fact, he loved anything to do with chicken. And, as far as vegetables went, he could not see nothing beyond potatoes. Interestingly, he was a poor eater.
