Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Founder of Celebrity Cricket League who is producing the movie, says, "It's bizarre that even three decades after that historic victory, we haven't produced a single film that captures the achievement. In many ways, that win was instrumental in turning cricket into a religion in India. I believe it's a story that needs to be told."
