Cristiano Ronaldo's best kept secret

Cristiano Ronaldo's mother Dolores Aveiro has revealed in her autobiography that she had tried to abort the Portuguese football star when she was pregnant. In the book, Mae Coragem (Mother Courage), released in Portugal , Aveiro claims that she drank warm beer and ran "until she dropped" after the doctors had refused to terminate her pregnancy, reported the Independent. "I wanted to abort but the doctor didn't support my decision," Spanish newspaper La Razon, which is serialising the book, quoted her as writing.Aveiro said Ronaldo knew about the incident. Speaking at the launch of her book, she said Ronaldo knew of her secret and the pair now reflected on the decision with some humour.
