Post retirement Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar it seems is keen to promote Indian sports in a big way. Just after days of buying the Kochi Franchise in the Indian Super League ( ISL) . An IPL style football league by IMG - Reliance , the master blaster has according to reports is set own the Mumbai franchise of the International Tennis Premier League . An IPL style tennis event managed by Indian doubles specialist Mahesh Bhupathi. Tendulkar;s foray in other sports is a huge inspiration for the sports like football and Tennis. An association of an iconic player with a league gives the league the required credibility and the stature to make it popular world- wide. And both tennis and football are bound to benefit with the iconic Sachin’s presence amongst them.
