PICS: Lakhs evacuated ahead of cyclone Hudhud

Over 2 lakh evacuated as cyclone

HITS ON SUNDAY: The cyclone 'Hudhud' is set to hit Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, Oct 12 with winds gusting up to 195 kmph. People living in coastal areas of these states have been evacuated, reports coming from Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar said. The cyclone is expected to make a landfall near Visakhapatnam by Sunday afternoon, a senior official said, adding, about 1.11 lakh people in five coastal districts have been shifted to safer places.
