Modi launches Swachch Bharat Abhiyan

On Gandhi Jayanti PM Modi launches Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

CLEAN INDIA MISSION: Prime Minister Narendra Modi symbolically weilded broom and launched the nationawide Swachch Bharat Abhiyan in Delhi on Thursday, Oct 2. The ambitious programme has been launched to mark the 145th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Importantly, clean India has been very close to Narendra Modi ever since he became the prime minister of India. Launching his pet project in the national capital Modi said that let everyone come forward and make his or her city meaningfully clean and not just for namesake. Modi also administered a pledge to the people on the occasion.
