Limca Book of Records honours 25 women

Limca Book of Records celebrates 25th anniversary, honours 25 women

The Limca Book of records has honoured 25 women as part of its silver jubilee celebrations. Among those honoured by the Limca Book of records include boxer Mary Kom, veteran actress Waheeda Rehman and social activist Aruna Roy. The victim of the December 16, 2012 gangrape in Delhi (posthumously), Air Marshal Padma Bandopadhyay, Captain Indraani Singh, journalist Mrinal Pande and noted writer Mahasweta Devi were also among the awardees.
