Heat wave bakes North India, Delhi reels at 45 C, Churu records 48 deg

Blistering heat scorched North India on Friday as mercury soared to 45 degrees Celsius in the national capital and further in several other cities of the region with Allahabad sizzling at a high of 47.2 degrees. It was the hottest day of this season in Delhi as people scorched under an intense heat wave with the mercury expected to go up further on Saturday, June 7.
