Demonetisation: Frequently asked questions regarding bank transactions

First and foremost, you can only exchange ₹4500 per person in cash exchange and this limit will be reduced to ₹2000 from Nov 18. Indelible ink will be applied on your right hand index finger at the time of exchange. You can go to any bank branch with valid identity proof.
