Review of movie 'Bhootnath Returns'

Bhootnath Returns: Triumph of strategy

Why has this happened? Point number one, the performances. Although the film's story is completely unrealistic – a ghost contesting the elections against a corrupt politician (Boman Irani, very good as usual) is beyond the realms of any theoretical possibility – a young Bhalerao's spectacular show and the support of a master like Bachchan makes a visit to watch the film worthwhile. Two, the battle against corruption. The 'c' word has become a compulsory presence in any political discourse. When a film takes a strong position against it, finding viewers is inevitable.
