PICS:Packaged food now people's choice

With vegetables becoming costly day-by-day many people are opting for ready-to-eat food items. A survey by Assocham says that nearly 60 per cent of middle and low-income groups are switching over to ready-to-eat food items to keep kitchen budgets intact.
