High prices push October inflation

Costly vegetables push Oct inflation to 8-month high of 7 pc

The inflation measured on the wholesale price index (WPI) was at 6.46 per cent in September and 7.32 per cent in October 2012. As per the government data released on Thursday, Nov 14, rate of price rise in food articles was at 18.19 per cent in October.
